Michael Forgus Retirement Party @ The Transept

With great pride, but also with some sadness, we would like to announce the retirement of Michael “Funky” Forgus. Funky has been working very hard for a very long time here in Cincinnati opening restaurants like Funky’s Blackstone Grill and Funky’s Cantina, and then venturing in the catering business with Funky’s Catering, and most recently moving into the event management industry with DelightMore, Events to Remember. One thing has always been consistent every step of the way, he demanded only the best.

As he puts down his chef’s knife for the last time and picks up his wine glass (definitely not for the last time), we ask that you join us for one last great event with Michael. On April 26, 2024, we will honor the man that has married so many couples, filled so many bellies, raised so many glasses, and given so much to this community. And he would not be Michael, if on his special day he wasn’t thinking about giving back. So he has asked that one of his favorite charities, ProKids, share his spotlight.

ProKids will be on site to share their mission and their message. Michael hopes that you get a chance to know ProKids like he knows ProKids.
